About the Children's AdvocateThe Children's Advocate is a bilingual, bimonthly newsmagazine. Since 1973, the publication has covered issues affecting children and families in California. Over 50,000 children's service providers, advocates, community leaders, policy-makers, and parents read the Children's Advocate. A typical 32-page issue includes articles in English and Spanish on grassroots activism, trends and policy issues affecting children and families, and tips for parents and early care and education providers.
